Thank you to everyone who came to the Sylvanvale Pre WWII Car Show on Sunday 20 March 2022. The show was a huge success, raising more than $30,000 to help the residents at our Specialist Disability Accommodation in Bangor make their new house a home.
This year’s show was bigger and better than ever, featuring its largest-ever array of vintage vehicles, as well as food stalls and kids’ activities. Marking a return to Sylvanvale’s origins, the event was held at the new location of Flora Street in Sutherland. Sylvanvale’s very first site was the Baptist Church on Flora Street in 1947, 75 years ago.
“It was amazing to see the way the community came out and supported the event.”
“Our enormous thanks to everyone who sponsored, attended, showcased, exhibited, volunteered and participated at the Sylvanvale Pre WWII Car Show. A huge thank you also to event custodian and founder Ken Warburton, supporter Sutherland Shire Council and sponsors Colortile Miranda, Nexon, Shannon’s, Warren Saunders and Woolworths.
“Thanks to all their support, the event was a resounding success.”Sylvanvale CEO Leanne Fretten
