Government House Event
We kicked off our 75th year with a memorable reception at Government House on 29 September 2022, hosted by our patron, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales.
Celebration
Site Parties
From November to December 2022, Sylvanvale sites hosted an event of their choice. The team at Head Office kicked things off with lawn bowls. In the West Region they held a carnival day, while in the Blue Mountains, the team took a mocktails tour of some of the area’s most picturesque locations. Other sites had BBQs and get togethers with the people we support, families and staff.

To share memories from the past and help preserve our proud history for the future, we created an online 75th anniversary photo gallery – with each person who uploaded a photo receiving a special gift.
Renewal
Executive Visits and Tree Planting
Members of our Executive Team visited each of our sites for a small get-together and tree planting ceremony, with trees donated from Sutherland Shire Council.
